About the Centre

Considering the apathy of the fair sex in the country, ‘Law for Aid and Welfare’ has established a Centre for Women Empowerment wide resolution LAW/EBR/2014/01 for working on the empowerment of women and in turn the society.

The Centre shall carry out consultation on various bills and legislations of Indian government and United Nations Organizations besides conducting awareness programmes on various social, environmental and economic issues facing the women and girl child.

The Centre plans to have its own Publication on Women Empowerment and Public Policy in respect of women. It shall provide information on all International Statutes and documents related to Women Empowerment. Various events shall also be organized on issues facing the women to gather new ideas for inculcation in this noble effort.

Eligibility

Age between 18 – 24 years.

Excellent Communication Skills.

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Facebook, Skype, YouTube and Twitter.

Desired Skills and Abilities

Strong communication skills, including public speaking and writing.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects.

Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to think strategically, creatively problem solve, exercise good judgment and lead change.

Ability to flexibly share leadership and build consensus.

Terms and ConditionsThis position is tenured, part-time, voluntary and unpaid.

We are looking for at least 12 months commitment from you.

You will be required to devote at least 5 hours per week.You will be put on probation for 3 months from date of selection.

A Performance review will be conducted after completion of 3 months.
